About Vista Legal Search
Thirty years of listening before placing.
Vista Legal Search was founded on a simple belief: the best placements come from genuine understanding — of culture, of ambition, and of what truly makes someone the right fit.

The best placements happen when a recruiter truly understands both sides of the table — and earns the trust of both.

My Story
After more than three decades in legal recruiting, I founded Vista Legal Search to do things differently — with the depth and discretion of a boutique practice, backed by a genuine understanding of what makes legal talent succeed.
My background as an attorney gives me an instinct most recruiters simply don't have: I know what a judge expects in the courtroom, what a GC needs from their team, and what a managing partner is really evaluating in a lateral candidate. That perspective shapes every search I run.
Vista Legal Search is a national recruiting firm with regional focuses rooted in California, Ohio, and Florida — but the relationships I've built over thirty years span markets nationally. Whether you're a firm building out a practice group or an attorney considering your next move, I bring the same care to every conversation.

Three Principles Behind Every Search
How I Work
Relationships Over Transactions
Legal careers and legal departments both run on trust. Confidentiality isn't a policy here — it's the foundation of how we operate.
Discretion Always
We stay engaged through the offer, the transition, and beyond — because the best measure of a placement is how it looks a year later.
Listen First
Every engagement starts with real conversation — not a job description, but an understanding of culture, goals, and what success actually looks like.
Let's start a conversation.
Whether you're hiring or considering a move, I'd love to hear what you're looking for.
